Have a wonderful week.

What did you get up to this weekend? I got to bed extra early on Friday after a long long week, and a semi-severe injury to my hand last Thursday (endured stitches, a tetanus shot and all). I started my Saturday at Moja cafe on Commercial Drive (which I think may be up there with my top 5 favourite cafes in all of Vancouver [actual list coming soon], and then perused the neighbouring vintage stores with my new friend Ronit. In the evening, we celebrated Chinese New Year with a dumpling-making-production-line-dinner-party at Joc’s place, where I was able to show off the dumpling pleating techniques I learnt in a cooking class I took in Japan, and ate my weight in vegan kimchi. Sunday morning was slow to start (just the way I like it), and then I made my way to Capilano River for a walk/hike. Need to rest up this week to be fully recovered and ready for my race on the 10th! Hope you have a good one! Here are a few fun links from around the web…
